'In a Dark Dark House' Press Night

What Emma Wore

Emma's outfit at this event was very interesting. She was pretty casual up top and the bottom was a bit dressier. She wore shiny leather-like pants, tall boots, a tank top and a sweater; she also wore her diamond ring. I'm not sure how practical this look would be for every day wear, but if you like it, go for it! If not you can switch it up by wearing the top part with jeans or the pants with a dressier top.

Dress Guide

The Top
Emma wore a very simple purple-ish/pink ribbed tank top with flower detailing around the neck. For this you can get whatever color you like/looks good on you. The key thing here is the flower lace detailing on the straps and around the neck.

The Sweater
Emma wore a tan knitted sweater that had 2 different colors to it. It also had big loose sleeves but was still fitted at the end. You can get whatever color you fancy, as long as it matches the rest of the outfit.

The Pants
Emma wore a pair of TopShop leather trouser pants with zipper details on the pockets. Since these are going into tall boots you could even get leather-like leggings instead of actual pants. So what we are looking for here is black, leather, and zipper detailing.

The Shoes
Emma wore a pair of black patent leather high heeled boots that went almost up to her knees. The boots had buckle detailing near the top. You can find all different sorts of high heeled calf boots in stores so just get whatever kind you like.

The Accessories
Emma went very light with accessories at this event and just wore a diamond ring. You can add other accessories if you want or you can just wear a ring.

Hair & Make-Up Guide

Make Up

Hair
1. This look seems to use your natural hair texture so if your hair is moderately straight, brush through and part to the left, pushing your fringe/bangs behind your right ear.
2. If your hair is not as straight, use a straightening iron on day old hair and run quickly over medium sections of hair to create a straighter look. Part to the left and secure with hairspray.
