Patrick Demarchelier Photo Exhibition Opening Party

What Emma Wore

Emma looked stunning at this event wearing a Marc Jacobs two-toned, low v-neck dress, blazer and Christian Louboutin strappy sandals. Her dress was bright so it popped great next to her black blazer and her shoes finished off this flawless ensemble! You can recreate this style by following this guide!

What Emma Wore

Dress Guide

The Dress
As stated above Emma wore a Marc Jacobs color block dress. What you are looking for is a bright colored dress that has 2 colors. If you are daring enough, you can go for the super low v-neck as Emma has done. If not, change the neckline to what you feel comfortable with.

The Jacket
Emma wore a simple blazer to this event, so it should be very easy to replicate. You want to look for a plain black blazer with 3 buttons, and then you've got it!

The Shoes
Emma wore a pair of gorgeous Christian Louboutin Button-Web Strappy Sandals. What you want to find to match this pair of shoes is a pair of black sandals with a lot of straps, they don't have to be in a web formation, any straps will do.

The Accessories
Once again Emma wore a very simple diamond ring with a black leather clutch. Both are pretty easy to find, though I did have trouble finding a good purse match online.

Hair & Make-Up Guide

Make Up

First apply concealer to any problem areas that you might have including dark spots, zits, and etcetera. Then blend with a powder foundation in your skintone. Next apply black eyeliner to your eyelids, top and bottom, avoiding the waterline. Next curl your eyelashes and apply a black mascara to your eyelashes. Then apply a silvery, glittery eyeshadow to your eyelids, smudging it into a line above your eyelashes on the upper lid and do the same on the bottom lid. Apply a medium pink blush, and then a berry pink lipstick.

Hair
1. Take freshly washed hair and use a straightening iron to get a smooth look. Don't worry about making your hair perfectly straight because you will be tying it up.
2. Gather the majority of your hair up in to a pony tail that rests level with your ears, leaving two sections loose at the front. Secure tightly with a hair band.
3. Place grips at either side of your pony tail to keep any loose hairs in place.
4. Part your fringe/bangs to the left hand side and then take the first section of hair you left loose on the right side. Brush through to make smooth and then pull back and hold in place with another grip, which should be positioned slightly higher and further forward than the first. Repeat this on the left side.
5. Allow a few strands of hair to fall loose from the style either side behind your ears and push your fringe/bangs towards the right hand side. Secure with hairspray.
