Hair & Make-Up Guide

Make Up
Begin by using a luminescent sheer foundation (Bare Escentuals bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation) for even skin. Rub a lavender cream eyeshadow (MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Cream in Light Lilac Shimmer) all around the eyes. Then, curl eyelashes and apply two coats of black mascara (Maybelline Great Lash BIG Washable Mascara) on your upper lids. Dust a rose-colored blush (Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Blush in Precious Pink) on the apples of your cheeks, and finish with a coat of raspberry lipgloss (Covergirl Outlast Double LipShine in Rose Quartz).
Hair
Emma had a professional hairstylist for this appearance, so you might need a bit of help to complete this look. To start off, part your hair on the left side and straighten it in layers. Use your fingers to gather your hair into a loose ponytail. Secure with an elastic band and make sure to leave your bangs out. Select one strand from the tail and wrap it around the base of the pony to cover the elastic. Separate pony hair into individual strands approximately 2" in thickness, then use a medium barrel curling iron to create loose curled loops. After each section of hair has been curled, use fingers to roll each strand into a soft barrel-style curl. Set with bobby pins to secure hair against the scalp. When satisfied with the shape, use bobby pins to hold your hair against the scalp. Use as many bobby pins as necessary. Sweep the remaining front hair into long, eye-brushing side bangs. Use a flat iron to get a sleek finish and secure with bobby pins. Top it all off with a large flower or jeweled hair accessory.
