Chanel Pre-Fall Fashion Show

What Emma Wore

This has got to be one of the fan favorites of Emma's outfits. She flaunted her stuff in all around Chanel at the Pre-Fall Fashion Show. Her clothing items include black skinny jeans, a belt, a leather jacket, sequined top, and chiffon blouse. Her accessories were also Chanel. They include matching star necklace, ring, and earrings. To top this outfit off, Emma wore multi-strapped Chanel sling back pumps.

Dress Guide

The Top
To start off, get a leather jacket. This can be as simple as they come, but stay with black leather and silver zippers. Keep the collar defined and folded down against the shoulders.

The Other Stuff
Find a blouse that is black and see-through. Then put a stretchy black sequined tank top over it. This will keep the shirt and skinny jeans looking snug but not too snug on your body.

The Bottom
A pair of shiny black skinny jeans are just the thing for this outfit. You want them to hang sightly over the shoe, but not too much. Try and keep it as non-embellished as possible.

The Shoes
Emma's multi strap pumps actually have a sling back. It is best to find a sling back, but if it's easier for you, just shoot for a multi-strap. This will define the foot more. Keep the patent material in mind when buying this shoe. Flats are not recommended, but if needed, stick with patent flats.

The Accessories
These are simple. You can use any shape with your jewelry, but stick with silver for the color. Keep black & white with silver. You can use hearts, plain, swirls, or even pearls with this outfit.

Hair & Make-Up Guide

Make Up
The look:   Smokey eyes and an icy pink pout.
Start by applying a light coat of foundation (Urban Decay Surreal Skin Makeup) to your skin in a matching tone. Set with a light dusting of face powder (Urban Decay Surreal Skin Universal Mineral Powder) or sheer finish loose powder. Apply a narrow strip of sparkly white eyeshadow (Stila Eyeshadow Pan in Moonlight) just under the bottom lash and to the brow bone. Dust a blue-based charcoal eyeshadow (Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow in Smokey Noir) on the upper lids. Rub a pale pink cream blush (NARS Creme Blush in Penny Lane) into the apples of your cheeks, and finish with a swipe of icy pink lipgloss (Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Pop).

Hair
The hairstyle:   A messy princess-style updo.
Part your hair on the side and straighten it in layers. Take a small section of hair on the same side as your part and braid it; repeat with a small section on the other side. Take a medium-sized curling iron (Conair CT155S Ceramic Curling Iron and curl the rest of your hair. Using your hands and a comb, carefully pull the curls back into a loose bun and secure with an elastic band. It's perfectly alright if some strands escape the bun; leave the stray pieces around your ears. Take the braid on the left side and pin it behind the left ear with a bobby pin. Repeat with the braid on the left. Set everything with hairspray (White Rain Extra Hold Aerosol Hair Spray) if needed.   (Thanks so much for all of your help, Laura!)
