What Emma Wore

At this event Emma wore a very comfortably chic outfit. She paired a Sonia Rykiel knit dress with black tights, black shoes and a simple diamond ring. This look can be worn at a multitude of events and be appropriate. You can do it monochromatic like Emma did or add a splash of color with your dress choice!

Dress Guide

The Dress For the dress you want to find a knit dress that has short sleeves. You want a dress that is loose on the top and then has a form fitting skirt on the bottom. The dress can be whatever color you desire.

The Shoes Emma wore a pair of black shoes, they are patent leather and they have a bit of grey fabric/leather on the top turning them into little booties. It is hard to tell from the photos, but that is what it looks like. So you can either go for just simple black heels or something more like Emma's.

The Accessories Emma was very minimalist when it came to accessories for this outfit and she just wore a very small diamond ring with a gold band. These are pretty easy to find, but expensive if you want a really nice diamond. Emma also sported a black studded belt and bracelet and her Christian Dior Oui ring. There are a lot of cheap alternatives though if you go with cubic zirconia.

Begin by applying a coat of liquid foundation (Dermalogica Treatment Foundation) to your skin in a matching tone. Set with a light dusting of face powder (Urban Decay Surreal Skin Universal Mineral Powder) or sheer finish loose powder. Dust a rose-colored blush (NARS Blush in Torrid) on the apples of your cheeks, sweeping up along your hairline. Rub a shimmery nude eyeshadow (MAC Eyeshadow in Rice Paper) over your eyelids, in the corners of your eyes, and below your bottom lash line. Curl eyelashes and apply two coats of black mascara (Kanebo 38°C Mascara in Black) to top lashes. Finish with a coat of pink matte lipstick (Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Stain Lip Color in Comedia).

The hairstyle: Blonde, flat-ironed locks.
Emma's hair looks pretty natural here, so if you want to leave your hair as is, feel free! To achieve her look, however, simply part your hair on the left side and straighten it in layers.
