Dress Guide

The Outfit
Emma's dress, designed by Ossie Clark, was designed to elongate the body and make you look taller. To find a dress to match this, we suggest a simplistic floral patterned dress. Plain works too, however it can get a bit boring. Try to find a simple colored look or pattern on the dress which will make it flow nicely.

The Shoes
The shoes, designed by Charlotte Olympia, are platform sandals. Now, the shoes shown below are a gold or yellowish color. Depending on the color of your dress, this is a debatable thing, as you can match colors. You can match a number of things such as the color of jewelry, or even a small color used color on the dress. If you dress is blue and white patterned, for example, try to find a show that is nuetral, nude, or white colored heel. This way it will not draw so much attention to the feet. Flats can be used, but are not recommended as it defeats the dress making you look taller.

The Accessories
Emma's jewelry, designed by Chanel was simplistic and wasn't too flashy. To find nice jewelry for this look, try to keep away from diamonds or flashy gems. If you want to have some kind of necklace stay with the simplicity, and keep it to 1-2 small charms. Gold or Silver are recommended. Don't mix and match colors, as it may look funny. Her braclet was a simple chain bracelet with a floral design, wrapped around a white ribbon. The white ribbon was a memorial for Rob Knox, a deceased cast member.

Hair & Make-Up Guide

Make Up
The look:   Rose-colored smokey eyes.
Start by applying a light coat of foundation (Dermalogica Treatment Foundation) to your skin in a matching tone. Set with a light dusting of face powder (Urban Decay Surreal Skin Universal Mineral Powder) or sheer finish loose powder. Rub a shimmery nude eyeshadow (MAC Eyeshadow in Rice Paper) over your eyelids, in the corners of your eyes, and below your bottom lash line. Smudge a rose-colored eyeshadow (MAC Eyeshadow in Sushi Flower) below the crease of your upper eyelids, and wing out just past the lashline. Apply a thin line of black eyeliner (Physicians Formula Eye Definer Flat Automatic Eyeliner Pencil) on top and bottom eyelids. Curl eyelashes and apply two coats of black mascara (Kanebo 38°C Mascara in Black). Finish by applying a light coat of matte lipstick (Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Stain Lip Color in Instinctive) with your fingers.

Hair
The hairstyle:   An elegant braided updo.
Part your hair on the left side. About two inches back from your forehead, make two thin braids on either side of your head. Pull these and the rest of your hair back into a high, messy ponytail and secure with an elastic band. Wrap the tail around the base into a loose bun and secure with bobby pins. Take a red ribbon two yards in length and wrap it three times around your head. Secure the ends of the ribbon with bobby pins, and set everything with hairspray.
